The Palace Theatre has 870 seats and opened on April 9, 1915. Fashioned after its namesake in New York City it still remains remarkably similar to its larger cousin. The Palace was considered the only first-class theatre in New Hampshire that was fireproof and "air-conditioned", which was a big deal in 1915. It has also been completely restored to it's original splendor and opening night beauty.
